When a person coughs, the sound created has a signature as unique as a fingerprint. This is also true of a forced cough.
Using sophisticated artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), the SoundPass™ app learns the unique forced cough signature of each user. The sound signature is then securely stored as that user’s baseline for future comparison.
Once in place, users can check their current forced cough signature anytime to see if it matches their baseline. Conditions that can alter a baseline forced cough sound include illness and environmental exposure, among others. If the signature is the same, the user gets an “Authenticated” message. If the signatures do not match, the user gets a “Not Authenticated” message, providing an early warning of a possible problem.
Personal Status Checks For Individuals and Families
For self-checks, SoundPass Personal can be used throughout the day, to provide peace of mind about possible forced cough signature changes. SoundPass Personal is free of charge.
Safe Access for Individuals and Families
Gain entry to businesses or venues using the SoundPass System by upgrading to SoundPass Plus. For just $25 per person, per year, SoundPass Plus generates a scannable QR code each time a user authenticates a new forced cough signature to their baseline.

SoundPass is a personal safety solution that can be used by anyone, anywhere, throughout the day to conduct self-checks. First, users submit a series of forced cough sound signatures to establish a baseline. Once the baseline is established, users can produce a forced cough using the app at any time, and the app will compare the current forced cough signatures to the baseline. If the signature is the same, the user gets an “Authenticated” message. If the signatures do not match, the user gets a “Not Authenticated” message, providing an early warning of a possible problem.
Employers can use SoundPass Plus and SoundPass Access together, to support the safety of their employees and their businesses. SoundPass Plus uses the same forced cough signature authentication tools but also supplies a QR code, to scan at points of entry to buildings to verify the “Authenticated” status of employees.
